If I Had Capital

Investments have always fascinated me. Researching them with the critical eye I've developed over the years is how I scratch that itch and this site is where I share what I find.

I've been an entrepreneur for a long time. Along the way I've learned how to tell a good investment from a bad one: what the real costs are, where the upside lives, what the downsides look like, and whether the numbers actually hold up when you dig in.

Right now, I don't have the capital for most of what I want to research. So I do the next best thing: I look at different opportunities and ask if I had capital, would I go for this? How much would it cost? What would the profit look like? Where would I put my money, and why not somewhere else?

That is what If I Had Capital is. The neutral eye. The dirty work uncovering, checking, stress-testing so you get an honest read - then you decide what to do with it.

No sponsored posts. No hype. Just research from someone who would invest if they could, and who treats every piece like their own money is on the line.
